Partner APIs

Many of our APIs are for partners only, and therefore require approved access to view the API documentation and to access those APIs.

Accessing Partner APIs

To view and access Partner API Products you will require a Product Access Code. You can obtain a Product Access Code from your Bunnings representative and then use that code to unlock one or more Partner API Products.

NOTE: Partner API Products are unlocked for a particular team. Any member of the team will be able to see those unlocked Partner API Products. Also, if you switch from one team to another your view and access to Partner API Products may change.

If you are a Bunnings partner, follow these steps to access some of our other APIs:

1

You must first register as a developer on the portal.

2

Under Your Teams, create a team. This team must be named after the registered name of your business or company, that is a partner of Bunnings. See the Teams page for more details on teams.

3

In your team, under Team Apps, enter the Product Access Code and click Submit.

4

Partner API Products associated with that code will now be visible and you will be able to create apps in your team with those unlocked Partner API Products.

NOTE: You will need to apply the Product Access Code for your team in both portals (sandbox-test and live) to unlock Partner API Products in all environments.

Applying for Product Access Codes

To request a Product Access Code to access one or more of our Partner API Products, you can see your Bunnings representative, or follow these steps:

1

Click on Teams and select the team you want to request an Access Code for

2

Click on Team Apps, then click on Apply for Access Codes.

3

Select the Partner API Products you would like to access, and then click Submit.

The request will be manually reviewed by Bunnings. A review normally takes no more than 3 working days. Access requests may require further information. If this is the case, Bunnings may reach out to you to discuss your requirements.

Product Access Codes

Product Access Codes are unique codes that unlock the visibility and access to particular Partner API Products. These codes are linked to a team and the API Products will only be visible to the team (and its members) that has applied that Product Access Code.

Depending on the code, they may unlock one or more of our Partner API Products.

If you switch from one team to another, the visibility and access to Partner APIs will change depending on what Product Access Codes have been applied to that team

To ensure you can see and access Partner APIs across sandbox, test and live environments, make sure you apply the Product Access Codes to the right team in both sandbox-test and live portals.
